88PINS

88PINS is an e-commerce brand that I have had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple times by designing a variety of pop culture-centric enamel pins for their online store.

My responsibilities as Designer include brainstorming potential ideas with the owner of 88PINS, design a final pin after going through sketches and revisions, coordinate with the production vendor, and assist with marketing needs such as copywriting and metadata.

Spirit Airlines Rebrand

Spirit Airlines is well-known for their affordable domestic and international flights. The concept of this rebrand was “The Spirit of the Destination.” The Window Pin combines the idea of arrival with a destination pin with the idea of exploration through the imagery of an airplane window inside the pin. The result is a dynamic logo that can be scaled to create depth and texture through printed collateral, paired with a typeface that adds a splash of personality and fun. 

My responsibilities as Project Manager include coordinating with other team members to make sure the project is done in a timely manner, facilitating specific tasks, and designing the print collateral.

Overwatch: Uprising Booth

As a personal project, I created an expo booth for Blizzard Entertainment’s IP Overwatch to promote one of the seasonal game campaigns, Overwatch: Uprising. I had designed wayfinders, convention exclusive merchandise including enamel pins and a reversible hoodie, and the overall expo space.

FREEAMERICA

FREEAMERICA is a is a multi-year campaign initiated by John Legend to amplify the growing movement to end mass incarceration. During my time at Propper Daley, I had the opportunity to create informative graphics for FREEAMERICA’s various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Janie's Fund

Janie’s Fund is a philanthropic initiative created by Steven Tyler in partnership with Youth Villages to bring hope and healing to girls who have suffered from abuse & neglect. During my time at Propper Daley, I had the opportunity to create graphical content for Janie’s Fund’s various social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

Kaleidoscopic Soul Exhibition

Kaleidoscopic Soul was a semester-long project that described my design philosophy through a portfolio book, invitational flyers, and personal exhibit. Much like how a kaleidoscope creates and connects different images, I analyze and connect different ideas to create a bigger picture. This exhibit was a part of APU's Tactile Messages IX: A Group Show of Portfolio Book Design in Fall 2017.

Stickers of Affirmation

Stickers of Affirmation is a project with the goal of spreading encouragement and empowerment in the midst of today’s social climate. The “I am” statements are paired with an illustration of a finger heart— a symbol of love in Korean popular culture. These stickers are handed out to attendees at conventions and events. There are currently nine variations that are in print, but more words will be added in the near future.

Humans vs Zombies 2018

Humans vs Zombies is Azusa Pacific University’s annual week-long game of extreme tag. For Spring 2018’s quarantine themed game, I had developed the branding that was used for marketing and print collateral.
